Giulio Falzoni, watercolours’ master

Giulio Falzoni was born in 1990 and died in Milan in 1979. He was an Italian painter who lived for many years in Florence and after in Milan, for whom he painted many landscapes. Was an eminent leader of figurative school of ‘900 and used different techniques, as oil on canvas, frescos, china and some multimedia experiments, but he will be always recognised and linked for his quality in watercolours, about them he was an undebatable artist.

During his life in Florence, he worked with Plinio Nomellini. At the end of years 40s he specialized at the Royal Water Colour Society di Londra, where he painted suggestive landscapes of the city. Since 70s he worked on multimedia experiments joining his two big interests: painting and classic music. In these experiments he showed in his watercolours many lyric and symphonic operas.
