This is the fourth in a six-part series dealing with Heart Failure. The aim of this series is to improve the recognition, diagnosis and management of heart failure.
In this edition, Dr Robert Xuereb discusses both the pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of heart failure according to the latest guidelines with particular emphasis to the role of a new class of medications (ARNI) and discusses why and when to use these medications. The primary objective of this episode is to help the health care professional fully understand the treatments and treatment options available to better manage heart failure patients.
