Learning Objectives
This is the fifth in a six-part series dealing with Heart Failure. The aim of this series is to improve the recognition, diagnosis and management of heart failure.
Heart failure frequently coexists with other common medical conditions which may be cardiac or non-cardiac conditions. There are two videos associated with this session. In the first video, Dr Robert Xuereb discusses how cardiac and non-cardiac co morbidities play a role determining the evolution and management of heart failure.
In the second video, Prof Emanuel Farrugia uses a case-based approach to discuss how renal co morbidities affect heart failure and its management.
After watching the video, we invite users to log on to www.thesynapse.net/cme and complete a set of short Multiple-Choice Questions and following this download a certificate of participation to earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
